Every manuscript submitted to IJVBS is first checked by the editorial office for scope, completeness and compliance with the author guidelines. Manuscripts that fall outside the scope of the journal or that do not meet basic preparation requirements may be returned without review.
Manuscripts that pass the initial check are sent to subject specialists for independent peer review. Reviewers assess originality, scientific soundness, methodology, ethical compliance, clarity of presentation and relevance to the readership of the journal.

Final decisions rest with the Editor-in-Chief. Manuscripts are evaluated solely on their scientific quality, originality, relevance and compliance with journal policies.
