Publication Ethics

The ethical standards expected of authors, reviewers and editors of IJVBS.

IJVBS is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics. All parties involved in publishing — authors, editors and reviewers — are expected to follow recognised international standards of ethical conduct.

Authors

  • Submit only original work that has not been published elsewhere and is not under consideration by another journal.
  • Present data accurately and retain records supporting the reported results.
  • Acknowledge all sources and obtain permission for reproduced material.
  • Disclose funding sources and any competing interests.

Reviewers

  • Treat manuscripts as confidential documents.
  • Provide objective, constructive and timely assessments.
  • Declare any conflict of interest and decline review where impartiality cannot be assured.

Editors

  • Decide on publication solely on the scholarly merit of the work.
  • Ensure confidentiality of submitted material.
  • Act promptly on any allegation of misconduct.
